I changed my mind about the re-roll on a x based on HD.

I think I am going to go with:

Roll - get hp equal to the roll or half you HD whichever is greater.

So a mage will minimally get 2 hp/lvl and barbarians 6.

Seems simpler.

Still max HP at level 1 and 2.
